Flux Marketing is a marketing consulting practice run by Andrew Cassar in Burlington, Ontario. This page explains what personal information this website collects, why, and who it goes to. It is written to be read rather than skimmed past, so it is short.

What this site collects
One thing: the contact form.
If you fill it in, it collects your name, your email address, and whatever you write in the message box. Nothing else, and nothing at all if you do not submit the form.
Why
To read your message and reply to it. That is the only reason.
Your details are not added to a mailing list, not used for advertising, and not used to build a profile of you.
Who it goes to
Two companies handle your submission on the way to the inbox:
- Resend, which delivers the email.
- Vercel, which hosts the site. Submissions are also written to Vercel's server logs, so a message is not lost if the email provider fails. Vercel keeps standard access logs, including IP addresses, the way every web host does.
Nobody else receives it. Your information is not sold, rented or shared for anyone else's marketing.
What this site does not do
At the time of writing, this site uses:
- No analytics. No Google Analytics or anything like it.
- No cookies. The site sets none.
- No advertising or tracking pixels. No Meta pixel, no conversion tags, no remarketing tags.
- No session or local storage.
Fonts are self hosted, so loading a page here sends no request to Google or any other font provider.
This may change. Analytics or a conversion tag may be added later, and that is a normal thing for a marketing site to do. If any of it is added, this page will be updated to say exactly what is running and what it collects, and the date at the top will change. Nothing will be added quietly.
How long it is kept
Contact form emails stay in the inbox until they are no longer useful, which for an enquiry that goes nowhere is about a year. Ask and it will be deleted sooner.
Your rights
Under Canadian privacy law you can ask to see the personal information held about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, and withdraw your consent at any time. Email andrew@fluxmarketer.com and it will be handled.
If you are not satisfied with the response, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions travel encrypted, and the services named above are accessed with credentials that are not shared.
No system is perfect, and anyone claiming otherwise is selling something.
Changes
Any change to this page changes the date at the top. There is no mailing list to notify, because there is no mailing list.
